As a former Assistant General Counsel for Gap Inc. in San Francisco, CA, Mr Hall has negotiated several hundred leases for venues in the United States as well as international locations (UK, Germany & Canada) for The Gap, Banana Republic and Old Navy divisions. While at The Gap he created and implemented real estate leasing policy for all Gap Inc. divisions and authored and updated lease forms and standard clauses. He also trained incoming attorneys, legal assistants and outside counsel in Gap Inc. leasing policies and mentored and coached them in effective negotiation techniques.

Mr. Hall is a former shareholder at the law firm of Miller Starr Regalia, a real estate specialty firm, returning to solo practice in 2011. At his former firm and as a solo practitioner he has represented Apple Inc. in the leasing of over 150 of its domestic locations, including the landmark site at the GM Plaza at 58th St. & Fifth Avenue in New York City. He has previously represented Ross Dress for Less, Gymboree Stores and presently his client list also includes Chico’s FAS/Inc., Custo Barcelona (a Spanish apparel retailer) as well as Milos Estiatorio Greek Restaurants (a fine dining restaurant establishment) for whom he negotiated the leases for the client’s Las Vegas (Continental Hotel) and South Miami Beach venues as well as a leasehold mortgage for the Miami location.

Prior to his tenure at Gap, Inc., he served as in-house counsel to real estate developers where he negotiated and drafted shopping center leases for regional and local sites. He also implemented real estate financing transactions and sales of excess or distressed commercial real estate.
